With the 2020 outbreak of Corona Virus, husband and wife team David and Jenna decided to have a good hard look at their working situation.With David working 40+ hours a week in a job that he had been doing for 30 years he needed a change. While Jenna comes from a hospitality background and has been making custom made cakes for the past 3 years.
Together we sat down and had some brainstorming sessions and the end result was Amberwood premium jerky and gourmet chocolates.
Our search began with finding the best meat and ingredients throughout Australia, and after going through a multitude of beef suppliers we finally found our perfect match with a 100% grass fed stock, a Very lean, no hormones, antibiotics or chemicals. Perfect!
Our beef is marinated for 12 hours with our carefully hand blended combination of herbs and spices allowing us to produce a jerky that has a great balance of flavours that last a very long time.
We don’t skimp on ingredients or our production method either;everything is done by us even from the drying and blending of our garlic and chillies. So you can be confident that you are getting the very best jerky when you buy Amberwood
