What Is It Exactly?
These portable solar panels are a set of 8 solar panels made up of four rows of two panels. When fully laid out it measures 22" x 42" and when folded and stored in its protective cover it measures a very compact 8.5" x 11" and weighs in at a very light 1.7lbs and has a maximum output of 26 watts. Using the technology of CIGS (Copper Indium Gallium diSelenide) and it really is the most efficient thin film solar technology available today and it is this design that instantly converts sunlight into electrical current and recharges your electronic device such as cell phone, laptop computer, MP3 Player, digital camera or PDA. It will even generate this current in low light conditions.
When you have finished recharging your device simply fold the Solaris26 up and tuck it away in the compact pouch and place it back in your pack etc.
